Among other characteristics, people with this disease have a symptomatological profile defined by the presence of behavioral agitation and a negative affective state (anxiety and depression). Traditionally, pharmacotherapy has been used to treat these symptoms. Nevertheless, its exclusive use has proven to generate numerous inconveniences in its users.
