Los Annales Castellani Antiquiores y Annales Castellani Recentiores: edición y traducción anotada

Resumen

Resumen: Los denominados Annales Castellani Antiquiores y Annales Castellani Recentiores son dos fuentes importantísimas para la historia de los reinos de León y Castilla hasta los tiempos de la reina Urraca (siglo XII). Dada la antigüedad de las últimas ediciones de ambos textos (de comienzos del siglo xx), y debido, al mismo tiempo, a las pequeñas deficiencias que estas presentan, se propone aquí una nueva edición crítica de los mismos. Se ofrece, además, una traducción al español acompañada de breves notas explicativas de los hechos recogidos en los citados anales.

Abstract: The so-called Annales Castellani Antiquiores and Annales Castellani Recentiores are two of the most important sources for the history of the Kingdoms of Leon and Castile until the reign of Queen Urraca (XIIth C.). This paper offers a new critical edition of these works, due to their last editions antiquity (beginning of the XXth C.) and slight faults, as well as a translation and a short commentary of the events related in the Annales.
