Resumen
Antecedentes: La victimización tradicional entre iguales y la cibervictimización son factores de riesgo predictores de la conducta suicida en adolescentes. La comunicación familiar es un factor protector todavía muy escasamente estudiado en la problemática específica de la ideación suicida en adolescentes que sufren victimización tradicional y cibervictimización. El objetivo del presente estudio fue analizar con dos modelos diferentes de mediación moderada los efectos directos e indirectos
-mediadores- de la victimización tradicional y de la cibervictimización en la ideación suicida en adolescentes; así como el rol moderador de la comunicación familiar en las relaciones entre victimización tradicional, cibervictimización e ideación suicida. Método: Participaron 1007 adolescentes (51.9% chicos), entre los 12 y 18 años. Resultados: Se confirmaron efectos directos e indirectos significativos de la victimización tradicional y de la cibervictimización en la ideación suicida. La comunicación familiar moderó los efectos directos de la cibervictimización en la ideación suicida, pero no los efectos directos de la victimización tradicional en la ideación suicida. También, moderó la relación entre victimización tradicional y cibervictimización. Conclusiones: La comunicación familiar es un factor protector que disminuye la cibervictimización en adolescentes que sufren victimización tradicional y que reduce la ideación suicida en víctimas de cibervictimización.
