Abstract

Behavior treatment in a case of temper tantrums.- This paper exemplifies the behavioral treatment on a five years old girl case. An exhaustive clinical analysis is made, including not only the collection of información, the description of techniques employed (extinction, punishment, positive reinforcement, and contingency contract), but also a five years follow-up. The description of the case is followed by a discussion of the steps and issues that should bear in mind while working on a behavioral modification program, along with a final comment where important issues to the case understanding are emphasized.
