Abstract
About the primacy of affection on cognition: Theoretical and clinical implications.Taking into account the current experimental data about the relationship between cognition and emotion, some difficulties involved in the cognitive theories of emotion and in the theory of the therapeutic change are analysed. Some ways of reformulation of the cognitive processes are suggested and some theoretical and clinical implications are pointed out.
