Abstract

Learning processes and some relationships between behavior emergence and language. Behavior analysis methodology leads to carry out experimental that have a great control on discrimination processes in humans. A number of experimental about complex discrimination processes were carried in the 70's and the 80's, starting on matching-to-sample procedures. With this kind of experimental, psychologist have discovered some rules related to the fact that a person responds accurately in the presented of settings he/she did not learn before. Experiments using both animals and humans as subjects, have showed the relation between this kind of discriminations and language. With this processes, we can understand from a behavior standpoint some topics that have been studied by linguists, such as meaning or sintax.
