Abstract

Anticipated retirement and human resources: The Relevance of a Psychosocial approach. The concept of Anticipated Retirement is discussed. Its legal sense and the changes observed in the traditional meaning of retirement as a consequence of the introduction of Anticipated Retirement programs in Organizations are also considered. Finally, lines of intervention, from a psychosocial approach, in an anticipated retirement program are described. The program objective is to reduce the work force in an organization.
