Abstract
Cooperative learning: an effective contribution of the social psychology to the XXI century school. The educative system of the developed countries are crossing now a deep crisis. This crisis is both of scholar achievement (reflected in the high academic failure), and of socialización (reflectad in a high frequency of behavior problems). That crisis, and their attached problems, affects children differently according to their sociocultural origins: it is stronger and more frequent to those belonging to the lower socioeconomic status, worker class, minorities, inmigrants, etc. In this paper we pretend to show the psychosocial nature of all these problems, and consequently, we propose the use of psychosocial techniques, particularly the cooperative learning techniques, as an instrument to solve all these problems.
