Abstract
Mental functionalism and neurobiological theory of consciousness. On May 1993, Professor Francis Crick was invited by the Department of Philosophy (University of Balearic Islands, at Palma de Mallorca) to give a lesson on his Neurobiological Theory of Consciousness -that is the most relevant aspect of Professor Crick's contribution to the PDP (Parallel Distributed Processes) Group. May these notes be useful to focuse some aspects on that theory and its historical role as an altenative to the mental functionalism of most cognitive psychologists along the 70' and 80' years.Downloads
