Abstract
Setting of a self-care habit in a case of infantile autism. The Modification of Behavior has showed useful specially in the establishment of basic repertoires, in people with handicaps in their development. In this article, some considerations about infantile autism are made as well as the techniques applied to a particular case. In addition to the general frame work, the setting of a habit of self-care is explained in detail. In this example the complementary function of the shaping and chaining are stated, as well as the relationship between chaining and learning whithout error. Finally it refers to the concept of deprofessionalitation and the are of coterapist in line with the philosophy in which the Modification of Behavior is registred.
