Abstract
Linepus: A comparision of high fidelity, research and research in a real context. This paper presents a comparison of an experiment with eyewitness carried out in laboratory and field contexts. The results show that the laboratory data suppose an important lose in comparison with the fiel data. The design controlled the variables interval retention, unconscious transference, police interrogation (objetive v. driven to a miss-identification), and presence v. absence of the offender in the lineup. The results are discussed in reference to the outcomes of many laboratory studies and in signal detection analysis.
