Abstract

Recovery of factorial solution with dichotomous variables: A comparative study. A simulation study for recovery of factorial solution under different experimental conditions is presented. The aim is to analyze the behavior of different methods and indices of association under the conditions obtained at different levels of skewness, sample size and magnitude of factorial loadings, when originally continuous variables are dichotomized.
