Abstract
At this study, prevalence of sexual dysfunctions in a sample of 1135 normal subjects from Valencia and Castellón (Spain) is analyzed. Some results evidence that in men 25% have experienced inhibited sexual desire; 14% erectile dysfunction; 39% precoz ejaculation; 18% retarded ejaculation; 9% absence of orgasm and 6% dispareunia. In women 37% reported inhibited sexual desire: 22% no lubrication; 42% absence of orgasm; 9% dispareunia and 5% vaginisme. Implications from health psychology are emphasized.
