Abstract
Evolution in study of the relationship between psychological factors and fibromyalgia. This work studies the psychosocial research in Fibromyalgia conducted during the last decade. First, we observed that this research was focused on the study of the psychological causes for the syndrome and its results are not consistent. Second, there are few studies considering the most current issues of the psychosocial research in chronic pain. The psychosocial impact of fibromyalgia and the contribution of the psychosocial factors to its chronic pain experience were not explored.
