Abstract
Conditional discrimination with children: The effects of differential contingency (reinforcement / time-out). The effects of reinforcement/time-out versus reinforcement/extinction are studied in a conditional discrimination task with preschool children. Change in contingencies were introduced in a different moment for every subject using a multiple baseline design. Results indicated higher stimuli control, more stability and faster learning of conditional discriminations, when changing from extinción to timeout. Equivalence was more probable in subjects with less variability through training, and variables involved in equivalence probes (such as stability) are discussed.Downloads
