Abstract

Paulo Freire and the Psychosociopedagogy of the liberation. The Brasilian educator Paulo Freire decease is a reason for trying to make, at the present paper, a complete analysis of his work, having as a frame of reference both the sociopolitical and historical context, that is, latinoamerican reality of the sixties, specially brasilian, and the ideological context, that is, radical and critical Pedagogy, always trying to synthesize Christianity and Marxism, including some important elements of anarchistic o libertarian tradition in education. The main components (praxis, conciousness) of Freire psychosociopedagogy proyect are also analysed. Finally, it is commented on utility and projection that still has the educational proposal of the Brasilian pedagogist at the present postcolonial and postmodern society.
