Abstract
Some Crohn's disease predictive factors. Crohn's disease is a Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). The present paper analyzes first the psychological impact and the way of life secondary to Crohn`s disease, and second the relationship among symptomatology and behavioral reactions and environmental factors. A Multiple Regression Analysis of the predictive factors possible for frequency of the symptomatology suggest that the patients successful adaptation to this chronic disease depends more on their personal and social competence than on the symptoms of the disease. This study confirms the importance of psychological functioning in determining patients inflammatory bowel disease and must be considered together with disease activity.
