Abstract
Measuring Impulsivity in Preschoolers: A psychometric analysis of the KRISP. The aim of the present study is to carry out a psychometric analysis of the Kansas ReflectionImpulsivity Scale for Preschoolers (KRISP). The sample consists of 254 children both first and second grade of preschool, although just 156 children were evaluated in all measures: KRISP, the Preschool Diagnostic Test, and two questionaries for teachers. The results about internal consistency, item analysis, and criterial validity are presented. The main conclusion points out that KRISP is not a good measure of reflection-impulsivity. Therefore it seems to be necessary either to modify substantially this scale or to build a new one.
