Abstract
Administration language and differential item functioning. The purpose of the present research was to evaluate the effects in score and validity, of one test administration in a non dominant language for the subjects, also the score and validity of the instrument translated to the basque language. The results in a verbal comprehension test were compared in relation to the reference and two focal groups. The high percentage of differential item functioning show a lack of validity of the test in anyone of the two evaluated conditions.
