Validación del modelo vitamínico de Warr mediante regresión no paramétrica localmente ponderada

Abstract

The use of non-linear models based on locally weighted regression: Application to the Warr Vitaminic model. Generally speaking, linear models have been the mostly used statistical tool in Behavioural Sciences. However, these models do not show good adjustments in data which can have non-linear dependencies. Within this context, we do propose the use of non-linear models based on locally weighted regressions. Additive models are developed in this paper and are use to validate the Vitaminic Model of Warr.
