Abstract
Attitudes toward statistics. We have tried to validate an attitude scale towards Statistics (EAE) with a sample of students from the University of La Laguna. The results obtained through factorial analysis, principal components and varimax rotation, show four factors: Security, Importance, Usefulness and Desire of Knowing. These results are similar to those obtained by Auzmendi with High School students in an attitude Scale towards Mathematics. In this scale Anxiety seems to be the determinant factor.
