Abstract
Application of the Williams and Lambert technique to the South-East Asian ethnic groups. In this research the procedure proposed by Williams and Lambert (1975) has been applied to classify 82 Southeast Asian ethnic groups. The main aim was to evaluate the effectiveness of such procedure by contrasting their results with those obtained with the HOMALS technique. The application of Williams and Lambert procedure allows three groups to be segmented. When comparing these results with those obtained using the HOMALS technique, a very good convergent validity was found.
