Abstract
Codification system and data quality analysis in top level soccer. In this work a new practical tool for the observation, codification, analysis and evaluation of a specific behavior context, football association or soccer, is presented The codifying tool, made within the framework of the observational methodology, will allow full description of the playing action in soccer. Assuming that soccer is a colaboration-oposition game, certain types of strategic behaviors of interaction between teams will be retained, as well as interaction contexts where they occure and place and space. Inductive viewpoint was the main scope of this resear ch. Data quality was controlled and guaranteed by the use of several procedures along the whole process, whereas agreement and generallizability analysis were the most important ones.
