Abstract
Predicting laboral insertion in the construction sector. In the pr esent paper we have analysed the validity of biodata, aptitudes and personality predictors with three objective criteria of laboral insertion and its predictive power so, in a sample of bricklaying apprentices. Results seem to indicate significant coefficients for most studied variables. Predictive power is specially relevant for Experience, Intelligence and Methodic, a facet of Conscientiousness. In such a way, we confirm the relevance of this personality variable for getting and mantaining a job, besides Intelligence and Experience, whose importance had been reflected in numerous empirical and metanalytical studies.
