Abstract
Social psychology and leisure: A neccesary articulation . Since psychology started paying attention to the rigurous and systematic study of leisure as a determinin g factor in the lives of people back in the mid sixties, social psychology has begun positioning itself as the most pertinent disciplinary field when it co mes to carry ing out such an alysis. T he object of present study co nsisted in carrying out a critical an d systematic approach of the most significant co ntrib utions in this area, as well as in pointing out how the relation social psycho logy -leisure has been ad quiring an increasingly significant relevance. However, we believe it necessary th at this link adquire a definitive and integral character, so that the study, the research and the interventiOn on this field may thus become more fruitful and enriching.
