Abstract
Child abuse: Current status and social responses. In this paper, a national overview about child abuse figures and profiles will be presented. Although it is very difficult collecting data from a national perspective due to the regional governments responsibility in child protection, some figures collected by relevant researches will be analysed as well. This article also presents the current situation of different social responses to child abuse, including family intervention, family foster care and residential child care. Some statistics will be also analysed from researchers and government departments.
