Abstract

Utility of Conners Rating Scales to differentiate between subjects with and without Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. The utility of Conners Ratings Scales for parent and teacher to classify subjects with or without Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), in their different subtypes, is assessed. The sample is composed of 153 subjects (113 with ADHD and 40 from a control group), aged between 7 and 10 years old. The results of discriminant analysis show that parent ratings classify more accurately than teacher ratings both control and clinical group subjects.
