Abstract

Evaluation of a program of the development of creativity. In this study we present the results obtained from the evaluation of a program concerning the development of creativity. The study is carried out in the normal context of the classroom and with an ordinary curriculum at the early levels of primary education. The study consists of 232 students of average socio-economic means in two schools in Murcia, Spain. The evaluation of the effect of the creativity development program is carried out using a quasiexperimental design with an unequal control group and measurements before and after intervention. The results make apparent the positive effects of the intervention in improving creativity, which vary according to the aspect of creativity evaluated, the kind of center and the educational level. These results are discussed in accordance with the characteristics of the context in which the program is applied.
