Abstract
The concept of "fear" in Aristotle. This article analyses the concept of "fear" in Aristotle. To understand in the Greek philosopher the concept of "phóbos", one of the emotions which are produced in the psyche, it is necessary to explain the meaning and the relation among the concepts of páthos, arete, êthos, éthos, andreía, y héxis. Finally, a definition of "phóbos" is proposed with the aim of suggesting a general and comprehensive scheme of fear.
