Abstract

New technologies and especial education. The expansion of the new technologies assumed an alternative way of the traditional intervention in the Learning Dissabilities. Nevertheless, if we consider the fact that a significant percentage of Learning Dissabilities is unspecified, i.e., diverse etiology and symptomatology, it is not wondering that globalized computer programs addressed to different capacity difficulties permit significant progresses in consonance with the nature of the disorder they suppose. Our investigation goes further in this direction, and its aim is to prove the efficiency that globalized computer programs permit us to improve the academic achievement of the students with unspecified Learning Dissabilities In addition, if they are different or not from the standard traditional treatments (printed material), such specific as globalized. In order to prove the efficiency of these treatments, a sample of 63 children with Learning Dissabilities and aged between 7 and 10 years were assigned three different treatments: globalized computer program, globalized standard program and specific standard program. The results have evidenced significantly the efficiency of the computer programs in the unspecified learning difficulties, same as the fact that the computer programs are better than the standard traditional treatments (printed material).
