SELECTION OF ARTICLES (SCIENTIFIC WORKS)
Submitted Articles (Scientific Works) will undergo a preliminary review by the journal’s editors, who will accept or reject the paper based on its alignment with the scope and/or characteristics of the specific issue. If accepted, they will be subjected to an anonymous peer review process conducted by members of the scientific community specialized in a field related to the topic of the submitted work. Based on the review reports, the editors will send the editorial decision: accept the article, request revisions, or reject the article.
SELECTION OF ACADEMIC WORKS (BACHELOR’S AND MASTER’S THESES)
Academic Works will be selected from Bachelor’s and/or Master’s theses that have been awarded the highest distinction (Matrícula de Honor) and defended during the last academic year in any of the Degree programs offered by the Faculty of Law, or in official Master’s programs offered by the University of Oviedo with a predominantly legal content.
The journal’s editorial board will contact the student to confirm their interest in publishing their work and to specify the deadline for adapting their manuscript, which must comply with the style guidelines established for Articles (Scientific Works). This document must be submitted via the “Submissions” tab, selecting the “Academic Works (Bachelor’s/Master’s Theses)” section.
Given that these academic works have already undergone an initial evaluation by an examining board, the received papers will be subjected to a blind review by a single reviewer, who must belong to a field of knowledge related to the topic of the work. Based on the review report, the editors will send the editorial decision: accept the article, request revisions, or reject the article
