Abstract

An important problem in the process of separation or divorce, when minors children are involved, is the existence of a high level of conflict that harms the interests and development of minors. In order to alleviate this problem, the parental coordinator has emerged. This is a professional who will act as assistant to the judge and whose main function is to undertake an educational task with parents and to protect minors. In our national legislation, it's not possible to find regulations in this regard, but it's increasingly common for us to encounter their intervention in the various family courts in the national territory.
