Abstract
The victims of this crime number in the thousands, and in the case of sexual exploitation, the most common profile is that of a woman in a vulnerable situation, who sees how her body becomes a service in a market where the physical and psychological integrity of women (and young girls, unfortunately) is constantly endangered. For this reason, it is of great importance to carry out preventive and protective actions, which makes it even more vital to have a thorough knowledge of the victim’s profile, as well as that of the consumer. Likewise, taking into account the importance of migratory flows in this phenomenon is another step to be taken in order to prevent this type of situation from occurring and to effectively protect the victims.
