The role of the register of property in the main urban proceedings

Abstract

The object of this paper is to provide insight into the relationship of the Property Register and the main urban execution proceedings that can gain access to it. Its first stage will focus on reparcelling and equal distribution procedures, which take place within the former despite their own substantivity and ability to appear on other proceedings that are beyond the scope of this work. Preservation and rehabilitation operations will also be revised. The perspective this paper takes is an analysis of the current legislation on the issue, combining civil and administrative law at both national and regional levels, particularly aimed at the Autonomous Region of the Principality of Asturias. Additionally, the doctrine and case-law on the subject will be revised.
