Resumen
El duelo forma parte de la vida. Perder a alguien coloca al individuo en una situación de transición y cambio en la relación consigo mismo, con los fallecidos y con el mundo que le rodea. La continuidad de vínculos entre el doliente y la persona fallecida se manifiesta a través de conversaciones, de sueños y con la creación de un repertorio de objetos de marcado carácter significativo para el doliente. Se han revisado los estudios precedentes relativos a la continuidad de vínculos, observándose una aún escasa atención a la investigación sobre los síntomas de duelo y el crecimiento postraumático para comprender el ajuste de duelo. Como resultado, proponemos la necesidad de analizar la relación entre ansiedad, síntomas de la aflicción y la continuidad de vínculos, con el objetivo de avanzar hacia un mejor entendimiento del duelo en perspectiva contemporánea.
