What can an old teacher offer the new ganerations?

Abstract

Apart from writing summaries, old teachers can share their life experience with new and preceding student generations, both directly and through narrative, music or the cinema. In particular, they could and should try to transmit the poetic method, besides the scientific methods that provide knowledge through investigation models and designs, as it can be useful, at the clinic but also, when during their individual life or those from their loved ones, they have to face emotional loss, ageing or even death.
