Abstract

The theory of social representations and the interpretation of ritual symbols are the starting point of this short essay. It aims to approach particularities that, in the framework of covid-19, are related to the disciplines of Medicine and Nursing. The investigative dimension of both is not contemplated to focus on symbolic ritual aspects and caring activities that, as a result of the pandemic, are producing changes in social representation, especially of nurses, and in the symbolic unification of categories in Health Sciences.
