Abstract
On the occasion of the third centenary of the publication of the first volume of the Military Reflections of the 3rd Marquis of Santa Cruz de Marcenado, seven research studies are brought together which deal with his work as a diplomat in positions of great importance at various European courts, the treatise and military dimension as a professional sphere in which his service to the State was carried out and the projection and legacy of his work.
