On behalf of the REUNIDO journals portal of the University of Oviedo, we would like to alert our academic community to recent fraud attempts involving the impersonation of editorial board members. We kindly ask you to observe the following guidelines:

• Official Accounts: Exercise caution with any communication not originating from official University of Oviedo email addresses (@uniovi.es) or established journal channels.
• Diamond Open Access Model: All publications follow the Diamond Open Access model. Under no circumstances will payments be requested for collaboration, peer review, or Article Processing Charges (APCs).
• Financial Requests: Editors and the Publishing Service will never request bank transfers or financial data via email.

Should you receive any suspicious messages, we urge you not to provide any information and to contact us immediately through our official University of Oviedo channels.
