Abstract

Construction and Validation of a Questionnaire on Action Rules concerning the Social Use of Euskera. The main aim of this study was to build and validate a questionnaire which would measure the actual use of Euskera in adult bilingual subjects. The empirical analysis of instrument's reliability and validity was conducted using a sample of 420 high school and college students. Age ranged between 17 and 20 years. The available data allow us to state that the questionnaire's internal consistency and its validity are satisfactory. The instrument may be used in the diagnosis of bilingual subjects' level of proficiency in Euskera and the use of this language by these subjects in different contexts and situations.
