Microarchitectures or macro designs? Hybrid-living ways

Abstract

Since   the   sixties,   there   has   been   an   unstoppable   development   of imaginative   architectural   proposals,   often   utopian,   that   have  enriched   the current  housing  situation.  Beside  the  house  linked  to  our  everyday experiences that we commonly include within the architecture, we find experimental housing, located  in  an  ambivalent  area  shared  by  different  disciplines.  From  mass production,  experimental  housing  is  inspired  by  different  objects, which  often become  in  a  product  of  industrial  design.  The  article  discusses various  projects, playing  with  the  relationship  of  the  house  with  furniture,  an  appliance,  a  space capsule, a car or a dress, that propose suggestive mixed ways of living.
