Abstract

Furniture and  everyday  objects of all  kinds,  from kitchen  appliances to tools, including clothes, jewelry and decorative pieces are a true reflection of the way  of  life  of a  family. Thanks  to  them we  can  see how  it  was the  day  to  day of people who used them, what their purchasing power, how was your home or what they were wearing. Sometimes material examples are scarce so the documentary sources are the best way to get this information. In the following lines we will try to analyze the furniture and other personal property that used the asturian rural nobility during  the  Modern  Age through the  documentation of  two  families settled in Grandas council, the  Rodriguez  Allande and the Alonso of Magadán and Ron.
