Abstract
José Gómez del Collado, an architect from Asturias who made most of his work in his home town, Cangas del Narcea, he is a professional difficult to explain. With a great plastic capacity, he developed some of his architectonical buildings from plastic artist references like Hans Arp, Ben Nicholson or Piet Mondrian, even if this wasn ́t the only reference that marked his way of doing, he was really interested in building prefabrication, developing a personal system Known as “Panal”. This article aims to analyze the significance of furniture designed by the architect in his building and how these elements operated as organizing elements of the spaces that he projected.
