Abstract
After the conquest and the first settlements in Latin America there was a great cultural exchange between Europe and Latin America. This connection resulted in the enrichment of both worlds, which also implied an improvement in furniture production. This is the case of the viceregal Peruvian desk of the 17th century of the Museo de America, where there is a mixture of classical, Mudejar or Peruvian styles, taking into account the style of the Aragonese desk from the 16th century.
