Abstract
The main purpose of this paper is to present the different pieces of furniture that are kept nowadays in the National Museum of Decorative Arts in Madrid which were property of the art collector José Weissberger during the first half of the 20th century. Besides that we recognize the pieces from his collection that took part in the exhibitions hold during those years. We also identify the art works that will end up in the permanent collection of the Museum, and we explain, by means of diverse archive documentation, the reasons for which each work will end up in the institution.
