Abstract
The location of a batch of 19th century drawings a nd lithographs, collected in a book-format album, at the Library of the Lázaro Galdiano Foundation in Madrid is of great interest for the study of Spanish furniture. It is a 31,5 x 25,5 cm (12,4 x 10 inches) volume with veined green cardboard covers and brown leather spine. The inscription “Dibujos” is in a frame decorated with plain golden garlands and “C” shape ornaments. The book has 42 pageswhich contain 14 French lithographs and 47 pencil-coloured drawings which reproduce different styles of furniture.Downloads
