Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

The contribution has not been previously published, nor is under consideration for any other journal (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the editor)

Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.

The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which are found in the “About the journal” section.

If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in the “Ensuring a Blind Review” section have been followed.
Author Guidelines
As part of the submission process, authors must ensure that their submissions comply with the following guidelines:
- Submitted work must be unpublished and must not be in the process of review or have been sent to any other publication.
- Manuscripts should be in Word format, with line spacing of 1.5 pt and 3 cm margins. They should use Times New Roman with a font size of 12 pt in the text and 10 pt in footnotes, page numbering in the bottom right. They should be no more than 10,000 words, including footnotes but excluding bibliographic references.
- Submissions must include, in both Spanish and English, the title, followed by an abstract of between 150 and 200 words, and a maximum of five key words. The abstract should be a single paragraph and should contain the essential information required to understand the content of the article.
- Each author’s full name should be given, along with their affiliation (academic or professional category, name of institution, and country) and email address, in addition to the full address of the Corresponding Author’s institution. Where necessary, acknowledgements should also be provided.
- The title of the article must be center justified and in bold. The author’s name should be below, in small upper case letters, left justified, with the authors affiliation below the name. A SUMMARY must be included before the abstract and key words, in both Spanish and English, justified and single spaced. The top level of sections should be numbered using Roman numerals, the remainder should use Arabic numerals.
- Section titles should be in bold, justified, and single spaced. Section numbers, as in the summary, should be indicated using Roman numerals followed by a single point: , II., III., IV. ...]. Section text should be indented (1 cm) on the first line of each paragraph.
At the second level (subsections), the title is given in lower case italics, justified and single spaced, using Arabic numerals followed by a point: 1., 2., 3., etc.
If a third level of numbering is needed (within a subsection), the title will be in lower case, without italics or bold, using Arabic numerals following a point: 1.1, 1.2, 1.3., etc.

- Notes are given at the foot of the page, with sequential numbering. If there are any acknowledgements, clarifications etc., they will appear at the foot of the page before any footnotes, and will be indicated with an asterisk at the end of the article title.
- In REVIEWS, which will be no more than 3000 words, should be headed by the full reference of the book as follows: Surname, First Name, Title, publisher, year, number of pages. The author of the review should appear next, in small upper case, right-justified, with the institution they belong to below their name, followed by their email address.
- Manuscripts should be accompanied by a list of full bibliographic references for all work cited:
- Monographs or books: Surname(s), Inital(s). Title and subtitle. Year of publication
- Book chapters: Surname(s), Inital(s). "Title". In Surname(s), Inital(s) of the editor ed(s). Book title. Publisher, Year of publication, pages
- Printed journal articles: Surname(s), Initial(s) "Title of article", Full jounal title, volume (number), year, page number(s) preceded by the abbreviation pp.
- Electronic books or monographs (E-Books): Surname(s) of author(s), initial(s) Title of book, year. Available at: URL [Consulted day-month-year].
- Articles from electronic journals: Surname(s) of author, initial(s) "Article title", Full title of the electronic journal, volume (number), year, page numbers (if available) preceded by pp. Available at: URL [Consulted day-month-year].
Submission format
Work must be submitted through the REUNIDO platform, by clicking on the following link and following the steps outlined there. No original submissions will be accepted by other means.

Registering and logging in are required for submission to the journal and to check the status of submitted items. Go to log in for existing accounts or register a new account. Once logged in, go to ABOUT, select SUBMISSIONS, then NEW SUBMISSION, and follow the steps indicated.
Evaluation of the quality of submissions
Where submissions comply with the above requirements, they will be sent to two reviewers who are members of the Advisory Board or external subject-matter experts. Based on the reports from the reviewers, the editor will communicate the editorial decision (acceptance, minor changes needed, major changes needed, rejection).
