Abstract
In Italy, the problems demonstrated by regional health services during the pandemic have led to the forecast, within the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, of a major transformation and homogenisation of organisational models of care, in particular primary care. The transformation envisioned by the PNRR would be a great opportunity to overcome some historical flaws in our healthcare organization, but its implementation requires strong coordination between all levels of government involved, and runs the risk of being questioned by the beginning of the process of recognition of differentiated autonomy for some Regions also in the field of health.
