Abstract

Billy Wilder is considered to be one of the best directors in History of Cinema.  Billy was  born  during  the  beginning  of  the  20th  century  in  Austro-Hungarian Empire. Furthermore, he maintained an important relationship with art and design. Notably, his important collection of contemporary art along with his  friendships  with  the  designers  Ray  and  Charles  Eames  has  created  an interesting environment to analyze the interior designs, he has introduced in his films.  This  article  depicts  a  journey  through  home  and  work  places  of 20th century American society.
