Abstract
This paper is the continuation of the research we started two years ago on plastic objects in “developmentalism” Barcelona. On this occasion we have focused more on the relationship between Catalan Pop-Art and plastic furniture, on leisure culture understood, according to Lees-Maffei's theories, as a set of mediators and on the analysis of furniture made of polyester, the only ones that have survived to this day. Pop furniture constituted a real challenge to the parameters of Good Design that would henceforth meet with strong opposition from younger designers.
